My paintings are the embodiment of wrapping up anxieties and putting a bow on them. Instead of allowing the disruptive and deafening thoughts to consume the space in my mind, I use paint to work through the fears. By coupling this with bright colors and excessive amounts of tiny details, I am able to turn any dark thoughts into a piece of art that is bound to put a smile on your face. I have a background in graphic design and currently work out of my home studio in Troy, New York.

My brand, Oh hi! I’m Marisa!, is my way of making my art more accessible to anyone and everyone! I use painting as my getaway, and I want to be able to provide others with a small piece of brightness they can enjoy in their everyday life. My use of vibrant colors and expressive shapes can be found across a multitude of products including: hand⁠made clay jewelry and accessories, motivational greeting cards, art prints, home decor items and of course, paintings.
